Chocolate Chip Muffins

Local Cocoa Dark Chocolate Chip Muffins

Local Cocoa dark chocolate couverture drops are perfect for cooking and creating. This recipe is simple and delicious.


2 cups wholemeal flour

1/2 cup Local Cocoa dark chocolate drops

2 eggs

1 cup reduced fat milk

1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil

1/4 cup honey

1 tsp vanilla extract


  1. Preheat oven to 170c and lightly spray a muffin tin or use patty cases.

  2. Mix flour and chocolate drops in a bowl.

  3. Whisk together eggs with milk, olive oil, honey and vanilla, then mix into the flour and chocolate drop mix.

  4. Spoon into cases or tin and bake for 15-20 or until cooked through.

Makes 8 muffins. Serve hot with ice cream, or cold as a snack.
